Meet Brittany Wiegref, UniCare member services representative

Brittany has been a UniCare member services representative for over two years and is based in Andover, Mass.

Brittany loves the culture at UniCare and the helpfulness of colleagues and management because it allows her to focus on serving UniCare member needs more effectively every day.
The majority of questions she receives from members are about claims or benefit information for a specific service. Brittany tries her best to provide members with any and all pertinent information around a benefit or claim. Her goal is to ensure members fully understand the reasons behind claim decisions.
Brittany recalls assisting a member with a claim that was making her very anxious because she was receiving a large bill from the doctor’s office. Brittany explained, “I resolved her issue by calling the provider directly for her, and even followed up with the member to let her know the outcome. She was so relieved when I told her the claim reprocessed and that she was no longer going to get a bill form the doctor’s office.”
How does Brittany stay healthy? She gets up at 6 a.m. every day and goes for a walk and also stays hydrated throughout the day.
How does Brittany give back to her community? She donates clothing and her time to facilities that help those in need.
